In brief: This notice explains how Poemlux handles information when you browse our stationery store, place an order, request support or exercise a privacy choice. The live Your Privacy Choices page and the contact details below provide request channels; this notice itself is not consent to optional tracking.
Information and where it comes from
You may provide a name, email, telephone number, shipping and billing addresses, order details, messages and return information. Shopify, payment providers, delivery services and your device can provide transaction status, delivery events and technical data such as IP address, device/browser details and interaction logs. Payment details are handled by the checkout payment service; do not send full card data to us by email.
Why we use it and who helps
We use order and contact information to present products, process and fulfill purchases, provide tracking, answer questions, manage returns/refunds, protect the store against misuse, keep required records and meet legal obligations. Shopify hosts the storefront; checkout payment providers process payments; delivery partners carry parcels; technology and support providers may act for us as needed. We share only information reasonably related to these functions or otherwise permitted or required by law. We do not describe Shopify or a payment processor as the product seller.
Cookies and similar tools
Necessary cookies support the cart, security and site operation. Preference tools may remember choices. Analytics tools, if active, help us understand use; advertising pixels or cookies, if active, may measure ads or support targeted advertising. Google Ads, conversion tracking, remarketing, Google Analytics, Enhanced Conversions and personalized advertising are described conditionally here; they may be used only when enabled for this storefront. If Enhanced Conversions is enabled, identifiers such as an email address or phone number may be hashed before transmission to Google for conversion measurement. Hashing does not necessarily remove their status as personal information under applicable law. Availability of a cookie control and closing a notice do not by themselves establish consent or prove that no tracking occurs. Use the controls actually provided on the site and your browser settings.
Google Maps request
The Contact page and home map load directly from Google. When loaded, Google may receive technical information including your IP address and browser details. The map marks our correspondence address, not a walk-in store. Google handles its own processing under its privacy policy.
Retention, safeguards and location
We keep information as needed for orders, support, dispute resolution, fraud prevention and legal or tax records, then delete or deidentify it when no longer required, subject to applicable obligations. We use reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security. Shopify and other providers may process or store data outside your state or country, where different privacy laws may apply.
Children and public submissions
Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child supplied data, contact us. Do not put sensitive payment information in product questions or support messages.
State rights and advertising choices
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of personal information and may have rights to opt out of a sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. California CCPA/CPRA and other state rules can differ; we do not promise the same right or deadline in every state. Use Your Privacy Choices for available opt-out controls or email us. Where required and technically supported, we honor a valid Global Privacy Control signal for the browser or device conveying it. We will not discriminate for exercising applicable rights, subject to lawful differences.
Requests, verification and appeal
Email support@poemlux.com with “Privacy request,” describing the right you seek, or use Your Privacy Choices. We may verify identity using information reasonably related to the request; an authorized agent may need proof of authority and, where lawful, direct verification from you. We respond within the period applicable to the request and state law, and notify you of a lawful extension when needed. If a request is denied and an appeal right applies, email “Privacy appeal” with the prior decision; we will explain the result and any further channel required by applicable law.
